  2. This process seems to corrupt Windows Server 2008 system drives. Any thoughts on how to get around that?

  3. It shouldn't. I have used this exact methodology on Server 2008 based VM's as well.
    Is the drive you are trying to expand dynamic? If so, this probably would not work...
